Working with Westmount

Beginning in July 2024, I joined the design and fabrication team at Westmount Group in West Haven Connecticut. Westmount is a high-end custom millwork, furniture, and cabinetry workshop. Since starting in my position I have had the opportunity to work in every part of the process through design, fabrication, and installation. However most of my time here is spent in the design and fabrication stages. One of my main roles as a fabricator is to be able to quickly model, toolpath, and run CNC parts.
I am someone that believes that having a quality, organized, and clean workspace reflects good work. A big role I have taken on since joining the team is updating and optimizing the workflow at Westmount. This includes creating safer work habits, creating storage and organization solutions, and writing formal operating procedures. So far these experiences have been a great stepping stone in my career since I graduated from RISD.
